The Flowers of the Field Are Not Freaking Out
March 31, 2020, 10:00 PM

I want to tell you what I noticed today…

But, before I do, stop for a moment and look outside…

…did you notice?

The flowers aren’t freaking out.

The Grass is not worried.

Even the birds are singing a happy song, and not panicking.

This caught my attention, and then I remembered Matthew 6, beginning in verse 25….and it says something like this:

Take no thought for your life.

Not what you are going to eat

Not what you are going to drink

Not where are you going to find clothes

Don’t worry about what is going coming with the future.  In other words, don’t worry about what you cannot control.

Consider the birds; they don’t gather into barns or store up food, and yet God takes care of them.

The Flowers of the field, they don’t dress themselves; but even Solomon was not dressed as beautiful as they are.

God even takes care of the grass. Which is perhaps the most insignificant object in a field.

If God takes cares of the flowers, the grass and the birds…how much more will he take care of you.

Because, He love you! He loves and He knows you.

He knows your needs, your cares, your fears, and your troubles.  He is bigger than all any trouble you may have.

In these days of difficulty, remember, no matter how bleak this Covid-19 is; God is bigger than it to…so don’t worry.  Don’t fret.

So what are we supposed to do…we are to seek God.  Seek first His righteousness, His character, His truth.

When you seek Him, and come to know Him, no matter how bleak things seem; in light of who He is, all your troubles seem to melt away.

Seek God and put your trust in Him and he will meet your needs for today.

What about tomorrow?  What about the future?

My friend, you will find out He is big enough, and wise enough to take care of that too.
